Once noble warriors of the Great Crusade, the World Eaters are now among the most feared of all the Chaos Space Marine Legions. Originally led by the Primarch Angron, they were bred for conquest and honed for violence — a brotherhood of gladiators and berserkers forged in blood.
Even before their fall, the Legion was marked by savagery. The implantation of the Butcher’s Nails, cybernetic implants designed to suppress emotion and heighten aggression, shattered their discipline and bound them eternally to fury.
When the Horus Heresy erupted, the World Eaters’ descent into madness was complete. They turned from the Emperor’s light and offered their rage to Khorne, the Blood God, embracing an existence of unending slaughter. Their once-cohesive Legion fractured into countless warbands, each led by a champion of bloodlust and driven by a singular creed — “Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne.”
In the 41st Millennium, the World Eaters are a storm without restraint. They descend upon worlds in howling droves, their chainaxes roaring as they carve through enemy and ally alike. To them, there is no victory but death, no honour but in the kill. Even among the forces of Chaos, they are feared for their unrelenting ferocity — a reflection of Angron’s own damned soul, still rampaging across the stars as a Daemon Primarch.
The World Eaters stand as a grim testament to the corruption of strength and the purity of rage. They are not merely warriors; they are the embodiment of war itself — unstoppable, pitiless, and eternal.
